Conformance
An implementation claims conformance to ORP v0.3 by passing the bundled conformance suite. It ships with
the orp-validator package, so a pip installed copy can self-check.
orp conformORP v0.3 conformance — 27/27 passed
✓ [schema] core_minimal_valid
✓ [schema] policy_missing_l3_invalid
✓ [schema] ads_missing_reach_invalid
✓ [policy] deny_prohibited_training
✓ [lineage] trust_short_circuit_stops_at_verified
...
CONFORMANTExit code is 0 on a full pass and 1 on any failure, so orp conform can gate CI or a release.
What the suite covers
Three fixture families:
- schema — per-profile positive and negative documents (ORP-Core / Policy / Ads / AI): valid documents that must pass, invalid ones that must fail.
- policy — usage-policy evaluation decisions (allow / deny with reasons).
- lineage — derivation-graph inheritance decisions, including the trust short-circuit and the multi-parent intersection.
